Two red hot flames. Based on a Maori Koru, and flowing out to a very aggressive and pointy edge. During conception I planned to only make one large flame but it turned out I had just enough wood left from the stock beam to make one more baby flame.

​Played a little with the flat base cut, and they came out perfectly complimentary to each other. This piece was also the one to officially cement the half paint - half natural look of the series.
